Special Issue: The Impact of Brexit
The United Kingdom (UK) has completed a historic referendum on June 23, 2016 to decide if the UK should stay (Bremain) in the European Union (EU) or exit (Brexit). Leave won by 52% to 48%. The referendum roiled global markets, including currencies, causing the British pound to fall to its lowest level in decades. Prime Minister David Cameron, who supported the UK remaining in the EU, announced he would step down in October.
The exit of the UK from the EU will have a profound impact on many different fields. The special issue for IIBA Journal calls for research papers, commentaries (with proposed research areas or questions), case studies regarding the impact of Brexit on the UK and in the world. Some of the potential topics may include: The impact of Brexit on:

- The future of EU
